Overview

Although I cannot speak to specific details due to an NDA, I will briefly discuss the types of problems I tackled and my design process for solving the problem.

I worked in a cross-functional team as part of the product design team. I was involved in all project phases, from defining the problem to delivering final designs.

Problem

Originally, the engineering team designed and developed the entire platform, which was not planned with the user in mind; that had to be changed.

Interview results:

  • Lack of education

  • Late payments among user

  • 80% mentioned, "I wish I had better payment experience. "

Design Process

End result

This project redesign experience took nearly a year to ideate, test, and implement. This case study didn't include many features, including onboarding, dashboard, profile, and loan statistics.

In addition, there were a large number of screens and interactions. This project was a huge learning experience for the entire team and me. Finally, the tool was released, and now the product it's being used by different businesses and their clients. Thanks for reading!
